Session 1: Asynchronous Components

In this session, Schulich instructors will review a variety of tools they’re using to create asynchronous content that goes beyond readings and video recordings. Each presenter will demonstrate asynchronous activities they’ve created and share their experiences with designing and planning for asynchronous content creation. Instructional designer, Lisa Siegel, will also discuss the benefits and considerations of asynchronous tool options available within and outside of Canvas.
Session 2: Capturing and Enhancing Asynchronous Content with Echo360

This session will focus on using the tool Echo360 to create asynchronous content that is student-centric, interactive, and offers easy-to-use student participation analytics. Schulich instructors will share from their library of Echo360 videos and speak to their experiences with using the tool thus far. Instructional designer, Lisa Siegel, will also discuss Echo360’s new interactive features that continue to enhance student engagement.
