Instructors can send class announcements to students via Canvas. Once saved in Canvas, the title and body of each announcement are delivered to students’ email addresses. The three most recent announcements will show on the course home page (see below). Instructors can choose whether or not to allow students to reply to announcements.
Students and instructors can view all course announcements on the Announcements page in Canvas. In this way, instructors can keep all important course communications organized and easy for students to find.
With the Canvas Teacher mobile app, instructors can create announcements easily on the go.
