The Master of Marketing program is in its 2nd year of successfully securing placements for its students, under the newly created graduate placement 3-credit course, MKTG 6905.
Ashley Konson, Associate Professor of Marketing and Associate Director of the Master of Marketing program, working closely with Dr. Minerva Cernea, Associate Director and Head of the Professional Development and Experiential Education Office, are actively generating summer placements for the Master of Marketing students.
Schulich currently has 4 credit course placements: MGMT 4850 (BBA), IBUS 4100 (iBBA), MGMT 6850 (MBA India cohort), and, since the summer of 2021, the MKTG 6905 (Master of Marketing).
These credit course placements allow the students to apply their acquired theoretical knowledge and reflect on their learnings, under the direct supervision of faculty, while gaining hands-on working experience. These opportunities translate to better resumes and interview examples, many times ending with full time job offers.
