Event Overview
The Office of Curriculum Innovation & Teaching Excellence is hosting bi-weekly drop-in sessions for instructors and staff who have questions about online learning tools. Join these sessions to ask an expert at Schulich your questions related to technology you will use to teach remotely.
Any questions that arise from the ‘Teaching Online’ training sessions can be brought forward during the these sessions. This includes anything related to the following platforms or topics:
- Canvas
- Zoom
- Echo360
- Qualtrics
- Textbook Publisher Integrations
- Audiovisual Home Setup
Attendance at one or more of the ‘Teaching Online’ sessions is not a pre-requisite to joining these sessions.

Faculty Testimonials
I attended most of the training sessions on Canvas and Zoom over the summer. While found them very useful, the quantity of information was sometimes hard to digest in the abstract because I had not yet restructured my course for online delivery. I attended two drop-in sessions and found them incredibly useful for quick, efficient solutions to emergent questions that were specific to my course design and pedagogy. It was also useful to share ideas with the couple of other faculty at each session who were also at the same stage in the course design and delivery process.
