Faculty of Graduate Studies
The Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) ensures quality control of and coordination between the university’s graduate programs. The “resource faculties” develop and run the programs. FGS’s major role vis-a-vis Schulich is to govern the development and changes of graduate programs as a layer between Schulich’s Faculty Council and York University’s Senate.
Visit the FGS Website for more information on council dates and agendas, policies and procedures, and administration (including forms for curriculum development). If you consider making any changes to graduate courses or programs, please see the Curricular Development webpage.
